Responsibilities:
Work in cooperation with the Director of Operations to manage the company's flight operations department, including all flight crews and flight operations personnel.
Ensure that all flight operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all applicable FAA regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
Help to develop and implement policies and procedures that support safe, efficient and effective flight operations.
Work with the company instructors to develop and manage the company's pilot training programs to ensure that all pilots are adequately trained and qualified to operate the company's aircraft fleet.
Maintain a thorough understanding of all FAA regulations and ensure that the company remains in compliance with all applicable regulations.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with regulatory authorities, including the FAA, to ensure that the company is in good standing with all regulatory bodies.
Work in cooperation with the Director of Operations to manage the company's flight scheduling process to ensure that all flights are operated safely and efficiently and in compliance with all applicable regulations.
Provide leadership and direction to flight crews and flight operations personnel to ensure that all personnel are aligned with the company's mission and values.
Provide regular reports to the Director of Operations regarding the status of flight operations, including safety performance, financial performance, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications
Must hold a current FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate and have a minimum of 5,000 hours of flight time, including at least 2,500 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC).
Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Chief Pilot or Assistant Chief Pilot in a Part 121 or Part 135 operation.
Must have a thorough understanding of all FAA regulations related to flight operations, including but not limited to, Part 91, Part 121 and Part 135.
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team of flight crews and flight operations personnel.
Must have strong analytical skills and be able to use data to drive decision making.
Must be able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
