ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Ensure the safe operation of the company aircraft. Act as pilot in command making all decisions concerning safety and operational details.
2. Maintain flight logs and other required records and files.
3. Provide leadership and direction to flight and maintenance personnel to ensure personal performance and competence.
4. Supervise the flight crew and dispatchers to ensure they comply with flight dispatch policies and procedures; Ensure that department personnel are thoroughly familiar and comply with company policies, appropriate Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs) and pertinent operating manuals, practices, and publications.
5. Supervise the initial and recurrent training of aviation department personnel, both internally and externally with a professional training facility
6. Monitor flight crews to ensure the use of the standard operating procedures;
7. Manage out-source vendors to ensure services provided meet corporate standards for both safety and efficiency.
8. Attend annual recurrent training on assigned aircraft.
9. Remain informed on the latest developments within the business aviation community, including the FARs, and other Federal, state, local, and foreign regulations affecting operations. ... Continue Reading
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Associate's degree in business or equivalent education and related training.
2. Experience in a multi-aircraft corporate flight department.
3. FAA Air Transport Pilot license.
4. Communicate well with all levels of management in a professional manner.
5. All necessary pilot certificates with appropriate type ratings.
6. Knowledge of FAA regulation requirements.
7. Technically proficient in all aspects of aviation.
8. CPR/First Aid certification.
9. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
