Job Description

Responsible for the operational considerations of an FAA part 141 flight school.
Conduct required stage check and end of course flights.
Hires flight instructors and standardizes all flight instructors, as per federal regulations.
Monitors all flight operations.
Insure compliance with all applicable FAA regulations.
Receives and processes student progress reports from flight instructors.
Work schedule is determined by student loads.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
Three years practical experience.
Operational experience with a collegiate aviation program desired.
Must meet all federal requirements for designation as a Chief Flight Instructor under 14 CFR part 141.
Commercial Pilot - Single-Multi-Engine - ATP preferred Certified Flight Instructor - Single-Multi-Engine - Gold Seal preferred. Certified Instrument Instructor -Single-Multi-Engine Ground Instructor Certification preferred
