Job Description

The Chief Pilot duties and responsibilities include:
Monitoring and maintaining and reporting to the chief executive officer on, the operator’s compliance with the provisions of the civil aviation legislation and the operator’s exposition that apply to all flying operations;
Ensuring that the operator’s flight crew are provided with the information and documentation necessary to properly carry out their responsibilities;
Ensuring the proper allocation and deployment of the operator’s aircraft and the operator’s personnel, for use in the operator’s operations;
Maintaining a complete and up-to-date reference library of operational documents, including but not limited to the following - Operations Manual, CAA, CAOs, CASRs CARs, and AIP
Setting and maintaining the standards for the operations in accordance with this operations manual;
Developing, managing and maintaining the operator’s dangerous goods manual (if any) and ensuring that flight crew are trained in the handling of dangerous goods as required by the Regulations
Ensuring the proper allocation and deployment of aircraft and personnel for use in the operations;
Ensuring that flight crew member personnel are provided with the information and documentation necessary to properly carry out their responsibilities;
Managing the maintenance and continuous improvement of the operator’s fatigue risk management system;
Ensuring the flight crew member personnel understand the safety policy;
Ensuring that training and checking of the operator’s operational safety critical personnel (other than flight crew) conducted by or for the operator is conducted in accordance with the operator’s operations manual. ... Continue Reading

Minimum Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:
Previous senior fight operations management experience.
Extensive regulatory knowledge to enable to conduct operations
A Valid CASA ATPL with B412 type rating.
Class 1 medical.
A minimum of 500 hours as PIC on the B412.
