Job Description

Seeking an experienced and qualified Deputy Rotary Wing Chief Pilot for an equal-time touring position with a leading aviation operator in Papua New Guinea. 
Key Responsibilities
Direct and control rotary wing operations during your tour, ensuring compliance with CAR 119.51(b) and company policies.
Maintain currency as a backup pilot to support the flying program.
Oversee flight crew administration, including record-keeping, rostering, and monitoring qualifications and recency.
Establish and manage check and training systems for pilots, aircrew, and ground staff.
Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure adherence to safety standards.
Conduct regular visits to remote operations and provide weekly/monthly operational reports to senior management.
Collaborate with engineering to ensure aircraft maintenance aligns with company policy.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 5,000+ flight hours on rotary wing aircraft.
Endorsements on at least one helicopter type within the fleet (preferably two or more).
Previous management experience, including Check & Training and/or CRM.
IFR-rated with relevant operational experience.
Strong leadership skills with a focus on professionalism and safety.
Demonstrated knowledge of risk assessment and risk management principles.
