Job Description

As a Gulfstream 550 Instructor Pilot at the company , you will play a key role in shaping the next generation of aviation professionals. You will deliver high‑quality simulator and ground school training in accordance with regulatory requirements, company approved curriculum, and customer expectations.
Deliver simulator, flight, and/or classroom instruction for licenses, type ratings, internal training, certificates, and pilot qualification programs.
Conduct thorough pre‑ and post‑flight simulator briefings aligned with the company standards.
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) guiding clients throughout their training journey.
Complete all required administrative tasks, including training records, qualification tracking, and recommendations for remedial training when needed.
Contribute to curriculum and courseware development when required.
After approximately 1.5+ years and based on business needs, obtain qualification as a Training Center Evaluator (TCE) and customer contract check airman.
Perform duties requiring regular movement (stairs, ladders, confined spaces), periods of standing or sitting, and occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs as outlined in the company physical requirement standards.

Minimum Requirements

Hold, or meet qualifications to receive, an unrestricted ATP certificate and at least one unrestricted PIC Type Rating.
Strong passion for teaching, supported by excellent communication skills.
Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and internet‑based applications).
Must participate in the company DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Program.
Must be authorized to live/work in the United States.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the role (mobility, prolonged standing/sitting, occasional lifting).
Preferred Qualifications
Gulfstream‑rated or Gulfstream‑experienced pilot, ideally located in or near Las Vegas, or open to relocation to the American Southwest.
Experience operating business aircraft.
Prior training or instructional experience.
Ability to tailor instruction to a diverse customer base and maintain accurate records in accordance with FAA and company policies.
Demonstrated professionalism and commitment to the company “red carpet” customer experience standards.
