Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Conduct all duties and responsibilities ethically and professionally
•Maintain the highest ethical and professional standards in education
•Conduct all duties and responsibilities to achieve a win-win situation for students and the University
•Possess a mastery of history, features, benefits, and program information
•Provides highest quality of training for flight students abiding by pertinent ACS standards and internal standardization requirements
• Treats students fairly and with respect and informs Assistant Chief Flight Instructor and Chief Flight Instructor of potential issues and conflicts arising through flight training or contact with students
• Assists with projects from departments as needed

Minimum Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to carry out each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Instructor is responsible to hold and maintain currency and all pertinent experience requirements for flight instruction rendered to students.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:Flight instructor certificate required.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:Ability to interact in a pleasant and professional manner with employees and students with diverse backgrounds.
