Minimum Requirements and Preferred QualificationsAssociate degree in Aviation Technology or related field, a current Certified Flight Instructor Certification, FAA Commercial Pilot, or Advanced Ground Instructor or one year of industry related work experience in the field
Or
Associate degree, five years of industry related work experience in the field current Certified Flight Instructor Certification, FAA Commercial Pilot, or Advanced Ground Instructor and two of the below demonstrated competencies
Or
High School Diploma, seven years of industry related work experience in the field, current Certified Flight Instructor Certification, FAA Commercial Pilot, or Advanced Ground Instructor and three of the below demonstrated competencies
· Demonstrated competencies must be in aviation or closely related field:
· College Diploma
· College coursework from a regionally accredited institution (9 credit hours)
· Certification
· License
· Organization/Associate Affiliation (Documentation must be provided)
· One year of teaching experience at the college-level (In addition to the required years of work
· experience)
· Other supporting documents (Additional FAA Certification not listed above, continuing education credits, awards, publications, presentations etc.)
