Job Description

What you'll be doing
Conducting theoretical and practical flight training for student pilots, including pre-flight briefings, in-flight instruction, and post-flight debriefings
Monitoring student progress and providing comprehensive feedback to help them develop their skills
Ensuring all flight operations adhere to Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations and safety protocols
Maintaining accurate records of student progress and training activities
Assisting with the development and implementation of training programs and curricula

Minimum Requirements

A current New Zealand CAA B Category Helicopter Instructor Rating
Extensive experience as a helicopter pilot with Commercial Experience.
Excellent instructional skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex aviation concepts
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on safety
Adaptability and the capacity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and have the personality to remembered for the right reason
