Summary of Position
Teaches aviation ground classes on a part-time basis to prepare aspiring pilots for their FAA private, instrument, commercial and/or multi-engine certification exams. Teaches classes in aviation law and regulations. Teaching opportunities will be based upon need each semester.

Qualifications and Competencies
Required Certifications, Training, and/or Licensures: Certified as a Flight Instructor (CFI) or Advanced Ground Instructor. Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Minimum Qualifications: At least a bachelor’s degree; three or more years of aviation industry experience.
Certified as a Flight Instructor (CFI) or Advanced Ground Instructor to teach FAR Part 141 Ground School content at any of the following levels: Private Pilot, Instrument, Commercial, and Multiengine. Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Preferred Qualifications: At least a master’s from an accredited institution.
Demonstrated ability to teach and develop aviation courses at the FAR Part 141 and undergraduate level.
