Key Responsibilities
Communicate clearly and build team unity around flight operations.Liaison with the FAA and other authorities as necessary.
Follow standard operating procedures to ensure that flights operate according to all regulations, safety, and company policies.
Ensure the aircraft is operating under full compliance with legal policies, procedures, regulations, and safety guidance.
Follow required procedures to perform pre-flight checks and inspection prior to each flight. Verifying weather conditions that may impact the safety or efficiency of each flight.
Determine routes, speed, take-off, cargo weight, passenger numbers, and landing times to determine scheduling requirements, flight plans, and fuel requirements and consumption.
Monitor cockpit instruments, changing weather conditions, air traffic, and passengers regularly during the flight.
Completes required documentation and performs post-flight procedures, as required. Complete flight reports following landing documenting any inconsistencies or problems with aircraft or flight path.
Perform routine visual inspections of the aircraft checking for irregularities or preventative maintenance opportunities.
Must be able to use problem solving, critical thinking, and quick decision-making abilities, react quickly with good judgment to environmental and/or technical changes and emergencies.
Must be able to communicate effectively with passengers, ground crew, air traffic control, and other crew members.
Maintain required communication with maintenance and dispatch personnel when conducting flights.
Maintain a high level of personal decorum, professionalism, and customer service when interacting with passengers and crew members. Brief passengers before take-off on safety requirements and flight plan, as well as provide regular updates throughout the flight.
Maintain an awareness of industry trends and changes.
Will be required to work irregular work hours, sometimes including weekends and holidays depending on company needs.

Minimum Qualifications
7 or more years of flying experience and at minimum 3,000 total flying hoursPreferably 3 or more years of experience piloting private aircraft
Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate and or eligible for this
FAA Commercial Pilot’s License with Single and Dual Engine EndorsementsAble to hold a First-Class Medical
Able to pass a Type Specific Type Rating.
Excellent knowledge of federal aviation regulations and safety procedures
Degree in aircraft engineering or aviation, or similar field, is a plus
525S Type Rating is a plus
Current and recent 525 experience is a plus
