Job Summary
The professional Flight Instructor position is responsible for teaching in an academic flight training environment.
Flight Instructors may train students in a classroom setting, conduct flight/ground training, determine student proficiency, and document student progress and FAA training records.
They are responsible for maintaining a safe training environment for the program.
Responsibilities include but not limited to; training students in subject areas such as aircraft systems, operating procedures, handling emergencies, problem analysis, aircraft navigation, radio communications, airport operations, and aerodynamics.
