Key Responsibilities
Operate drones to capture aerial imagery, video, and mapping data of construction sites.
Conduct topographic surveys, volumetric calculations, and progress monitoring using GPS and drone technology.
Process and analyze drone data to generate 2D maps, 3D models, and reports for project managers and engineers.
Maintain compliance with FAA Part 107 regulations and ensure safe drone operations on active job sites.
Collaborate with project managers, survey teams, and site supervisors to provide accurate geospatial information for planning and decision-making.
Perform routine equipment inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance of drones and GPS instruments.
Document flight logs, site conditions, and project data for record-keeping.

Qualifications
Valid FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (required).
Experience with drone flight operations, mapping software, and photogrammetry tools (e.g., Pix4D, DroneDeploy, Trimble, AutoDesk).
Familiarity with GPS survey equipment and construction site layout.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety standards, and job site protocols.
Ability to interpret and work with site plans, blueprints, and CAD drawings.
Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and digital mapping.
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.
Physical ability to work outdoors in varying site conditions.
Preferred Skills
Experience with GPS machine control and earthwork modeling.
Background in surveying, civil engineering, or construction technology.
