REQUIREMENTS:
PIC must be highly knowledgeable of FAA regulations, Operations Specifications, Flight Manuals, Operations Manual, etc.
Qualified to serve as Pilot-in-Command in the Aircraft you’re applying for.
No FAA violations/warnings in last five years.
The ability to understand and follow instructions.
Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
Requires the ability to handle multiple priorities at the same time and the ability to follow through on all tasks assigned.
The ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.
Must satisfy the applicable USFS hour requirements.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Preferred requirements:
2500 hours PIC (Helicopter)
Must have a Commercial Helicopter license
Must have a Instrument License
Night Vision Goggle Experience a plus
Must be proficient in vertical reference and or tank operations.
Must meet or exceed the USFS Pilot in Command hour and certificate requirements.
Supervises field crew and copilots
