The primary function of this position is to function as Training Captain/Line Captain on the company owned King Air 350 Air Ambulance aircraft; assisting hospital personnel with boarding and deplaning patients; perform flight planning, pre-flight, flight and post flight duties in accordance with company Procedures, the Company Operators Manual, the Company SOPs, and the Canadian Aviation Regulations; making daily checks of pertinent weather, notams and flight information for flight planning purposes;
Monitoring the co-pilots performance, briefing and supervising co-pilot; briefing the co-pilot, other crew and passengers on intended operations; ensuring all necessary documents, logs and manuals pertaining to the operation of the aircraft are valid and on board; performs initial/recurrent flight crew training both in aircraft and simulator as well as ground instruction. Minimum of 4000 hours total time, 1000 hours multi-engine Pilot in command time, 1000 Hours King Air 350 or similar type, i.e. King Air 200, Beech 1900 etc. experience
Possess a valid Airline Transport Pilot’s license
Valid Category 1 Medical
Valid Group 1 Instrument Rating
Graduation from high school supplemented by the completion of a pilot training program from an approved Transport Canada flight training school
