Flight Instructors report to the Director of Training or their respective Program Manager. Their primary function is to train and mentor the pilot candidates assigned to them. Duties are divided between training in classroom and simulator settings and assisting in developing syllabus and training courseware as directed by the Program Manager to which they’re assigned.
There are opportunities to become a company Check Airman, advance within Flight Department Management, or transition to the line. At the direction of the Program Manager or Director of Training:
Conduct ground, simulator and flight training for new hire, transition, and upgrade pilots.
Collaborate and assist in syllabus, lesson plan and courseware development
Help develop and grow a fun, challenging & engaging training department that fosters individual growth and promotes group progress amongst our trainees and our colleagues

FAR 135 IFR Captain minimums are preferred but Instructors with less experience selected to this position will be trained and checked in the BE99 as a CFR Part 91 Flight Instructor.
Commercial Pilot License multi-engine land with instrument rating, high performance and complex endorsements
Certificated Flight Instructor Airplane, CFII and MEI certifications are required with recent instrument and multi-engine flight training preferred.
Turbo-prop experience preferred, but not required
First Class or Second Class Medical
Must meet airport badging requirements, including the company Security background check
Must have a valid Driver’s License and meet all company insurance criteria
Current Passport
English Proficient
Willing to travel
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and travel unrestricted in and out of the U.S.
