Key Responsibilities
Perform pre-flight inspections of aircraft and systems to ensure safety.Operating the aircraft safely and always maintaining a high degree of professionalism.
Monitoring weather conditions and communicating with air traffic control during flights.
Assist the PIC in the management of the flight and coordination with flight crew.Reviewing flight plans prior to takeoff and in accordance with Transport Canada regulations.
Anticipating issues and maintaining the commercial schedule.
Assists PIC to notify crew and passengers promptly of turbulence, adverse weather conditions, or any other operational factors affecting the flight.
Maintaining required communication with maintenance, SOCC, and dispatch personnel when conducting flights as delegated by the PIC.

Minimum Qualifications – First Officer
Must have a minimum of 1,000 hours total time (fixed-wing).
Must be able to travel unrestricted to and from the United States.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC).
Valid Transport Canada Airline Transport Pilot’s License (ATPL) or Commercial Pilot License with either IATRA or SAMRA/SARON exams completed.
Valid Category 1 medical.
Must have English and/or French language proficiency.
Clear background and criminal record checks.

Must have a minimum of 3,500 hours total time (fixed-wing).
