Responsibilities and Duties:
Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections, ensuring the aircraft is airworthy and in compliance with FAA regulations.
Review weather conditions, file flight plans, and ensure safe and efficient flight routes.
Coordinate with ground personnel, air traffic control, and passengers regarding flight schedules and any changes.
Oversee scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, and repairs in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer recommendations.
Monitor aircraft maintenance logs, ensuring all records are accurate and up to date.
Coordinate with approved maintenance facilities to schedule routine servicing and address any mechanical issues promptly.
Adhere to all federal, state, local, and company safety and operational regulations.
Ensure the aircraft's airworthiness documentation is up to date, including registration, insurance, and operator certifications.
Actively champion a positive safety culture, adhering to and enforcing all safety protocols and procedures.
Maintain accurate flight and duty time records in compliance with applicable FAA regulations.
Communicate upcoming flight schedules, travel requirements, and changes to relevant company personnel.
Manage necessary documentation and ensure flight manifests are complete.
Remain on call for flight requests, albeit infrequently, and respond in a timely manner when flights are scheduled.
Be prepared to adjust to changing schedules, including occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience (Required)
FAA Commercial Pilot License (Multi-Engine Land) required; ATP or ATP-CTP a plus.
Instrument Rating (IFR) and multi-engine rating required.
Minimum of 1,000 Pilot in Command hours, 500 hours in multi-engine, and 25 hours in a 1978 Piper Cheyenne PA-31T1 .
Thorough knowledge of FAA regulations (FARs), aviation weather, and air traffic control procedures.
Prior experience operating a twin-engine piston aircraft such as a 1978 Piper Cheyenne PA-31T1 is strongly preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
