The captain is one of the company’s most visible representatives to the passengers and serves as the company ambassador both at home and abroad. They model the company guiding principles and act with tact and decorum - while providing the utmost in service and safety.
The captain contributes to the company success by acting as Pilot-in-Command of company aircraft for assigned flights and safely operating assigned aircraft in compliance with all federal, state, local and foreign regulations, as well as the policies and procedures specified in the company’s operations manuals. Pilots work closely with other crew members, dispatch, maintenance, and line personnel, in the planning and execution of flight operations and fulfilling the air transportation needs for the company.
Manage the flight and crew to ensure each trip is flown safely, effectively and efficiently.
Assume full responsibility for the operation of assigned aircraft.
Evaluate all risk factors and adjust trip(s) as necessary to maintain highest degree of safety possible.
Keep up to date with new policies, procedures, FAA and ICAO regulations, and IS-BAO best practices.
Direct preflight planning and coordination as required.
Adheres to the company Flight Operations Manual, SOPs, International Operations Manual, and checklist philosophy.
Maintains thorough systems and operational knowledge of assigned aircraft and a full understanding of navigational requirements and limitations for planned destinations and alternates.
Perform arrival and departure preparation. Ensure that the aircraft is airworthy and properly equipped, including approving services for fuel, oil, supplies, and maintenance when away from home base.
Assist in passenger baggage handling.
Perform duties as pilot flying, or pilot monitoring – and assign roles as necessary.
Establish appropriate security for aircraft when away from home base.
Record aircraft discrepancies for maintenance corrective action and maintain applicable flight logs.
Maintain an image that positively reflects the Company.
Serve as a mentor and positive role model for all team members by demonstrating adherence to policy and industry best practices

A valid Airline Transport Pilot Certificate
A current 1st Class Medical Certificate
A valid passport
Restricted Radio Operator Certificate
The ability to travel extensively, domestically and internationally
The ability to work a non-standard work schedule, to include weekends and holidays
The ability to pass FAA Class 1 physical examination every 6 months
The ability to meet the requirements of CFR Part 61.58 in aircraft to be flown
An expert knowledge of international operating rules, regulations, and procedures

Bachelor’s degree
5 years minimum experience operating as a Captain with a corporate flight department
5,000 hours total flight time minimum
2000 hours PIC minimum
2500 hours multi-engine minimum
2000 hours turbojet minimum
G-VI / G-VII type rating
International large-cabin business jet experience
Restricted Radio Operator Certificate
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and communication skills (written and verbal)
Superior customer service skills and high degree of professionalism - this position routinely deals with the highest executive levels at the company
Ability to coordinate and manage projects
