Develops training curriculum, study outlines, and orientation materials to be used during Classroom, procedural, and flight training.
Conducts instructional sessions, briefings, training flights, and proficiency checks on the directed aircraft in accordance with Air Force approved syllabi and company policies and procedures.
Evaluates trainee progress and recommends qualification or additional training. Reviews training effectiveness to provide maximum proficiency.
Coordinates schedules for training B737 flight crews and necessary engineering support.
Background in Instructor Pilot duties. Serve as a contract instructor pilot to pilots on Boeing 737 aircraft and other aircraft. Provide other instructors training as required. Located within vicinity of Pope AAF, NC.

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of twelve (12) years of applicable experience.
A combination of education and experience may also be considered.
Must be qualified and current as an Airline Transport Pilot in Boeing 737 type aircraft (current within 6 months)
Must have minimum of 500 hours in Boeing 737, 1000 hours preferred
Must have previously served as a military Instructor Pilot
Must have knowledge of AF training regulations, training programs
Must meet FAA physical and regulatory qualifications to be a contract pilot
Must be capable of performing flight instructor duties on other aircraft as directed
Must have the ability to and willingness to travel CONUS to support training and exercises
Experience as a 737 Check Airman desired
