Must be able to teach in an academic classroom situation.
Must be able to present an organized briefing and leads substantive, interactive discussions, including but not limited to:
Closely adheres to approved curricula and allotted time slots for each Fixed Based and Full Motion Flight Simulator lesson.
Logistical management of classroom and training resources.
Set-up and breakdown of presentation materials (power point, manuals, white-boards, handouts, etc.)
Must understand the role and responsibilities of being an airline pilot including but not limited to the following:
Pilot in Command and Second in Command Duties, roles and responsibilities
Conducting preflight/post flight-debriefings and providing in-flight instruction to ensure students have a thorough understanding and comprehension of the training materials.
Expectations for professionalism, leadership, decision making, Crew Resource and Threat and Error Management.
Be an excellent communicator.
Must have the aptitude to effectively and efficiently operate a Flight Training Device (FTD) and simulator while teaching.
Must be willing to access and evaluate pilot performance and the student’s ability to safely operate the aircraft in all phases of flight, including during normal and non-normal situations.

Education and / or experience
Must have an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate, an Instrument Rating, a Multi-Engine Rating.
Must have served as a Pilot at a 14 CFR Part 121 Certified Air Carrier or a 14 CFR Part 135 Operator or possess a FAA Flight or Ground Instructor certificate or have a similarly appropriate aviation qualification.
Must be familiar with heavy aircraft systems such as: hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic, power plant, flight control, pressurization, FMS, automatic flight, fire protection and fuel systems.
Applicant should be familiar with technology required for the job including, but not limited to:
Use of Apple iPad tablet to access instructor syllabus and briefing materials, navigational charts, operating manuals, periodic bulletins, turbulence charts, and more.
Establishing internet or cell data connections to access company information and schedules.
Embrace diverse people, thinking and styles
