Job Description

The Aircraft Commander is responsible for setting the principles and standards that he and his crew shall comply with when conducting their duties.

All crew members are expected to perform their duties to the best of their knowledge and abilities and to display at all times the highest level of professionalism and behavior. The Company is a customer service based business and crews play a vital role in assuring both customer safety and welfare. It shall be noted that the crew's duty of care in respect of passenger welfare is not discharged until all passengers have been passed on to another agency or have left the terminal (or landing site). The main duty of the crew is the execution of the flight assigned to them. In the performance of his duty, each of the crew members (under the responsibility of the Commander) has to promote, as much as possible, the safety of the flight as well as passenger comfort and economy, and adherence to the schedule. Simply put, the Commander is responsible for the safety and welfare of the passengers, crew and aircraft during a flight, and with this all employees remain responsible for their actions and should be prepared to be accountable for them.

Pilot shall bear in mind that they are representatives of the Company. This responsibility implies a need to behave in a way that is courteous, well-disciplined and respectful of passengers, dispatchers, helideck crews and other crew members.

Minimum Requirements

    Type Rated and Qualified on Sikorsky S76 or S92 Helicopter aircraft commander with a valid ATPL (H) and Instrument Rating (IR) issued by an ICAO Member State. Preferably Thai Nationality but not limited to the others. Valid Class One Medical Certificate. ICAO English Proficiency Level 4 or above. S76D Captain: Total flight time (Multi-engine Helicopter) 2000 hours, 1000 hours as PIC and 100 hours PIC on Sikorsky S76C+, S76C++ or S76D. S92A Captain: Total flight time (Multi-engine Helicopter) 3000 hours, 5000 hours as PIC and 100 hours PIC on Sikorsky S92A. Minimum 500 hours offshore experience.
