Looking for a Private Pilots Needed for Research in the Simulation LabSeeking private pilots with current licenses on an as-needed, occasional basis for hands-on research studies. Using a standard work station computer terminal, the simulation operator will respond and react to commands from air traffic controllers. The efforts of these exercises will focus on evaluating communication protocols, standards, interoperability of systems, and more.
Work is conducted weekdays, 6 or 8 hours per shift. Pilots may be offered one or more shifts per week, depending on the research studies needed on any given date. Work will be sporadic, sometimes a few days a month or possibly 10 days in some months. Work will not be steady or regular, and pilots will work as they are able to and according to our needs.
