Tasks and Policies
Operates agency aircraft in a safe and efficient manner to provide aerial support in law enforcement and transportation activities.
Maintains all or part of the agency aircraft, including airframe, propellers, engines, radios, and flight instruments with approved replacement parts and cleaners.
Maintains logbooks and other documents used for recordkeeping related to agency aircraft, flights or miscellaneous aviation related activity in accordance with FAA regulations.
Performs a variety of aviation related inspections in accordance with FAA procedures.
Successfully completes all assignments to specifications, within specified timeframe and budget as directed and in accordance with agency policies and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
Must have a valid pilot’s license.
Possession of a current Flight 2 medical certificate required.
Must possess a current Commercial Rotorcraft certificate.
Preferred experience with Bell Helicopter 206, 206L, OH58, TH67, 407, and 505.
Certified Flight Instructor rating preferred.
Possession of instrument rating preferred.
Ability to work nights and on-call.
