The successful candidate will report to the Hawk Platform Owner and be responsible for providing training, administrative and subject matter expertise support applicable to Introductory Fighter Course training and liaise with other fleet instructional staff.
Conduct and develop aircrew training events for customer pilots.
Conduct comprehensive briefings and debriefings to ensure that the customer pilot is aware of their expected and actual performance during training events.
Evaluate and document customer pilot performance and progress during training sessions in the relevant records and reports in a timely manner.
Communicate with simulator maintenance technicians to report identified simulator problems or malfunctions.
Complete any required pre-training administrative activities to ensure that required training resources (classrooms, briefing rooms, simulators) are prepared and ready for the conduct of training sessions.
Complete all initial and recurrent training activities required to establish and maintain licensing, qualification and instructor standardisation as required by the company and/or regulatory authorities.
Timely reporting of any customer training problems and/or conflicts to the Hawk Platform Owner
Contribute to the provision of a professional, safe and harmonious working environment
Provide the company management with feedback on customer satisfaction, expectations and requirements

Knowledge and Experience
Must be an Australian Citizen and be hold or be able to obtain a Australian Government security clearance
Hold, or ability to gain, a Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment or recognised equivalent experience.
Hold, or ability to gain, a Hawk 127 instructor rating.
Minimum 1000 command hours on fast jet aircraft or agreed equivalent.
Possess qualifications and experience necessary to be able to be authorised by the Commanding Officer of RAAF Central Flying School as a competent Simulator Instructor.
Hold, or have held, a Military Qualified Flying Instructor Rating.
Previous experience Hawk 127 or RAAF fast jet aircraft.
Experience as a flight simulator instructor will be highly regarded but not essential
