Seeking a qualified Pilot in Command candidate for a Global 6500 aircraft based in White Plains NY (HPN). This is a 3-pilot account supported by a full-time Maintenance Technician flying part 91 and part 135. Pilots may live in the greater NY/NJ area or the Miami-South FL area.
The ideal candidate will come with a corporate aviation background and be a team player to share in the co-Captain role of managing the aircraft, someone who is detail oriented and puts safety and service as job 1. Due to training center saturation, preference will be given to local candidates with a Global Vision/6500 (BBD-700) type rating and experience.
Pilots can expect a weekly duty rotation with a minimum of 13 scheduled hard days off per quarter. Aircraft fly’s 80% domestic and mostly on the Eastern Seaboard.
The PIC will brief and assign duties to the Second-in-Command, but always retains responsibility for task completion. He or she will include information regarding weather, the flight plan route, flight delays, aircraft performance, obstacle clearance, security issues, and passenger considerations as well as any other pertinent information in the briefing.
The PIC will prepare or supervise preparation of flight plan considering such factors as weather, terrain, aircraft weight, aircraft performance, range, physiological considerations, airport facilities, and navigational resources.
