Job Description

Provides Part 121 Subpart Y Flight Training for Initial Qualification (IQ), Upgrade Qualification (UQ), and Continuing Qualification (CQ). Part-time is defined as 10 working days per month.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Provides exceptional flight instruction for IQ, UQ, and CQ pilot training. Becomes and maintains subject matter expertise concerning all the company. policy and procedure while remaining qualified to operate applicable Company Flight Training Devices (FTD) and/or Full Flight Simulators (FFS). Exudes Professionalism – Appearance, Language, and Demeanor are paramount in daily activities. Provides Leadership & Mentorship – Leads by Example: mentors, monitors, and trains others within their realm of influence. Provides input to supervisor on performance reviews and helps to identify development needs to include curriculum updates/maintenance. Conducts departmental audits when assigned. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE.
Airline Transport Pilot certificate
Must have full knowledge of all curriculums authorized to teach
CFR Part 121 Flight Experience
Ability to teach and perform well in FTD, FFS, and classroom setting
Computer skills are required
PREFERRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. / B.S.) or equivalent with at least 4 years previous Aviation experience in a CFR Part 121 environment
