Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Conduct academic and hands-on performance training - familiarizing pilots with the aircraft they'll be flying, providing instruction on the most efficient ways to fly aerial mapping assignments, ensuring safety protocols are understood and followed, and facilitating recurrent training on existing pilots.
Administer evaluations to ensure pilot proficiency and standardization of training in addition to completing required training database entries. Consult on pilots' performance for promotion, raise and performance reviews.
Assist with interviewing and assessing pilot candidates for available job openings.
Recommend revisions to standard operating procedures within the Flight Operations Manual.
Answer technical pilot issues pertaining to flight.
Mentor pilots on ATC, FAA, and Military Airspace communications; assist with real time issues as needed.
Train in-house Pilots to assist with assigned training responsibilities.
Consult on safety & maintenance with Pilots, Director of Maintenance, and Director of Aerial Acquisition.
Conduct demonstrations and participates in operational ground and flight tests of assigned aircraft required to maintain instrument proficiency.
Ensure compliance with all assigned standardization directives.
Perform rated crewmember duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
CFI, CFII, and MEI designations.
Commercial Pilot's certificate, single engine and multi engine, with instrument rating.
Valid and current second class medical.
5+ years' flight instruction experience.
3000+ flight hours (1000 hours of which were obtained in a turboprop aircraft).
Valid Driver's License and Passport (or ability to obtain one).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
