Job Description

Responsible for the documentation of training to include recording and maintaining all necessary certifications, updating, and creating training modules and tasks and creating and updating the department training matrix.
Schedules and coordinates all students’ flight training to include private pilot, instrument rating, commercial pilot, multi-engine rating, and flight instructor certificates.
Supports department’s staffing needs and assures instructors are properly trained to perform their jobs.
Coordinate and propose schedule/timing for the regular maintenance needs of aircraft and report to Chief Pilot weekly to ensure adherence to safety protocols and FAA mandates.
Provide student flight training as a CFI, CFII or MEI as needed to ensure student success and work with students in the simulator bay as needed.
Conduct bi-monthly inspections of simulators to ensure simulators are maintained properly and functioning within specifications.
Coordinate Flight Scheduling and will work with Chief Pilot to ensure students are scheduled according to their needs and flight experience.
Schedule student stage checks on a weekly basis with the Chief Pilot to ensure each student receives the stage check in a timely manner.
Dispatch aircraft and check-in aircraft to solo students in adherence with FAA approved TCO while at his or her post at the airport.
Given the daily post at the airport, the Dispatcher will ensure that aircraft are secured, fueled and in position every evening for the next day’s events.
Works in coordination with the Chief Pilot/Director of Operation to ensure that all students are meeting FAA standards and that ground instructors are teaching the appropriately.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of: Policies, procedures, and practices.
Microsoft Office Professional or similar applications.
Skill in:
Multitasking and time management.
Both verbal and written communication.
Ability to:
Contribute to teaching, and service at a level necessary to help the department maintain accreditation.
Should demonstrate commitment to mentoring students.
Must be able to work with a diverse student and faculty population.Work Experience
