Mimimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited aviation university or college, FAA & AP Certification or Industrial Technology Education
Three (3) or more years of verified full-time experience in military or civilian aviation career fields with aviation flight experience to teach private pilot and instrument familiarization courses.
A combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree and three (3) years of professional work experience in military or civilian aviation career fields.
Valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Identity Verified Prints (IVP) fingerprint clearance card.
Valid Arizona Department of Education Career and Technical Education teaching certficate.
Valid Arizona Driver’s License
Proof of immunization against or immunity to measles and rubella if born after January 1, 1957.
Additional Desired Qualifications:
20+ years experience in military or civilian aviation career fields.
FAA Private Pilot Certificate
FAA Instrument rating
Airline Flight Experience
Two years’ aviation teaching experience.
