Major Roles/Functional Responsibilities:
Assist Captain with discharging safe flying responsibilities and be prepared to assume pilot in command duties.Be an exemplary company representative by ensuring passenger comfort and affording them every possible courtesy. Exhibit an attitude of professionalism, cooperation, teamwork and helpfulness.Ensure aircraft are safely pre-flighted, stocked with appropriate supplies, and are ready for operation. Check-in passengers, assist with their entry and exit, load/unload baggage.Carry out miscellaneous duties as assigned by Department leadership including, washing planes, occasional hangar sweeping, updating charts, cost savings measures (checking fuel prices). Exhibit an attitude of professionalism, cooperation, teamwork and helpfulness.Attend flight and ground training annually as scheduled.Post-flight aircraft (example vacuum aircraft, clean windshields, clean coffee pot, etc.).
