Provides classroom instruction in both aircraft and non-aircraft-specific subjects including non-aircraft-specific subjects delivered for non-DHC-6 trainees.
Provides pilot flight instruction in flight training devices, simulators, and aircraft as assigned.
Provides classroom instruction, flight instruction, and pilot testing in special operations/special missions capabilities (e.g., Radar Approaches, Night Vision Goggles, Aerial Delivery, etc.).
Administers oral, written, and practical testing of pilots in accordance with applicable CFRs, OpSpecs, the company training program, and appropriate testing standards.
Provides ground and flight training and ongoing mentoring as assigned for IP/CP candidates initial qualification in the DHC-6.
Completes, with timeliness and accuracy, all required documentation following training and testing activities.
Assists the Director of Training in researching, evaluating, and implementing new or revised training systems, policies, procedures, and techniques.
