Looking for Rotary Wing Instructors to provide Simulator and Classroom instruction for rotary wing student Naval Aviators at Whiting Field, FL. Focuses on helping prepare military customers to develop and maintain the highest levels of mission readiness. As an instructor you help shape and prepare our future aviators to enhance their readiness to achieve mission success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Direct interface with students undergoing training in training devices or training equipment
Conduct scheduled instructor led/supported training for Training Device and Systems Training (including briefs and debriefs)
Evaluate student performance during training as required
Debrief students using full replay and/or debrief capabilities of the device utilized for the training event.
Complete and submit electronic grade sheet(s)
Maintain, assess, and recommend improvements to training scenarios for effectiveness and currency.
Review curriculum; assess and recommend improvements to the training curriculum via the appropriate TRAWING 5 Training Officer or Stage Manager.
Make recommendations for improvement to instructional media, to include tests and test materials, lesson plans, interactive courseware, flight training instructions and other guides under the guidelines of current directives.
Conduct training and instruction on device operation for personnel as needed, to include instruction on briefing, debriefing, grading and assessments.
Provide academic instruction, to include instructor led lecture discussion for Crew Resource Management (CRM), Instrument Ground School (IGS), etc., and
self-paced Computer Aided Instruction (CAI) and Computer Based Training (CBT) in support of curricula required for each platform.
Assist with training device inspections and certification programs as well as other special projects as required. This includes mishap re-creation and simulator device testing.
Successfully accomplish an annual standardization evaluation, to include written tests and in-flight evaluation in the company.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Shall be or has been , a company advanced rotary wing standardization instructor pilot, or, a company advanced rotary wing instructor pilot who held a standardization instructor pilot qualification in their- fleet aircraft, or, a standardization or check ride qualified Fleet Replacement Squadron (FRS) Instructor Pilot.
Become qualified in the TH-73A or equivalent type/model, and have flown as a Naval Aviator within 10 years of line date
Current and previous TH-57 simulator instructors and must have instructed within six years
A minimum of one deployed fleet tour
1000 flying hours in any helicopter
A bachelor’s degree.
Current or previous pilot on TH-119, TH-73 or any similar variant.
Current or previous pilot on TH-57 or any similar variant.
