Seeking a Chief Flight Instructor based in Europe.
As the Chief Flight Instructor, you will be responsible for the supervision of flight and flight simulation training instructors and for the standardisation of all flight instruction and flight simulation instruction.
Responsibilities
Play an active part in supporting the Head of Training with the overall Training Strategy.
The CFI is ultimately responsible is to ensure supervision and standardization of all flight instruction and flight simulator instruction. The CFI may delegate supervision and standardization activities to the Head of Training Delivery and or the Manager Training Services as required.
Responsible for the definition, implementation, and adherence to flight training standards.
Support the Company Safety Manager promoting the safety culture of the company working collaboratively with the relevant safety teams ensuring best practice.
Drive compliance in the company working collaboratively with the compliance departments responsible.
Lead and take ownership of defining flight instructors training before release as flight instructors driving performance through the relevant training managers.
Accountable for defining the requirements ensuring continuous development and revision of the Operations and Training Manuals, SOPs and syllabi, ensuring that training is carried out in strict adherence to them and any necessary actions taken.
Support Head of Training delivery and Manager Training Services in client remedial training and performance issues.
Assist in the selection of Training Managers, and mentor the Training Managers.
Play an active part in managing performance and training of the Training Managers working alongside the Centre Leaders to deliver success.
Make recommendations to continuously improve the training within the Training Centres.

Essential Skills:
Able to design & communicate vision for relevant areas of training including instructional techniques.
Extensive knowledge of the EASA regulatory framework
Act as change agent with clear examples of change management delivery within a similar environment
Ensure consistency of training across the training centres is delivered in line with the student experience.
Proven managerial capabilities.
Passion for service delivery and promoting a strong customer experience within organisation.
Dedication and commitment to meet and exceed the expectations and requirements of customers.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, to deal effectively with internal and external contacts ranging from executive to administrative levels.
Education
Experience in airline operations and/or flight training organization is desirable Knowledge of local aviation regulations is desirable.
