Job Description

Pilot (Fixed Wing) Air Ambulance- Crescent City, CA
Essential Functions/Duties
Operates the aircraft in safe and efficient manner.
Maintains a schedule set by the Chief Pilot at the designated base.
Ensures the aircraft is ready to be dispatched.
Complies with all FAR requirements and Guardian requirements.
Maintains cleanliness of the aircraft.
Accurately completes all required paperwork.
Educational improvement related to awareness of industry best practices.
Ensures that all pertinent information about flight operations will be disseminated through the Operational Communications Center.
Conducts himself/herself in a professional manner at all times.
Attends meetings when required, and is required for training and check-flights outside of normal duty shift rotations.
Upholds company policies and procedures.
Performs other duties during a scheduled shift as requested by Director of Operations or Chief Pilot.

Minimum Requirements

Current Commercial Pilot Certification
ATP Written Certification
Current FAA Class II Medical Certificate
Min. 2500 Hours Total Time
Min. 1000 Hours PIC
Min. 500 hours of multi-engine time
Min. 100 Hours Night Flying
Min. 100 Hours cumulative instrument time, with 75 actual instrument hours
Previous experience with multi-engine Beechcraft King Air family of aircraft preferred
FAR 135 experience preferredAdditional Requirements
Ability to function in a single pilot IFR environment
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to communicate professionally, effectively and persuasively.
Ability to maintain composure under pressure, work efficiently and accurately with frequent interruptions, and set/re-set multiple priorities.
Presents a professional image of the company
Maintains a positive team attitude with flight crew members, maintenance technician, and communication specialist by working cohesively.
Works independently and tolerates high stress levels while maintaining a good rapport with co-workers.
Maintains ongoing knowledge of relevant aviation SOP’s.
