The First Officer must assist in performing pre-flight checks such as; perform maintenance inspections including but not limited to checking the engine and navigation equipment, checking fuel levels, making sure the aircraft insurance certificates and other legal paperwork is up to date, acquiring information about the route, weather and customers.
Liaising with all crew members for clear communication.
The First Officer must report any mechanical issues or concerns to appropriate Maintenance Department member and Chief Pilot.
They also ensure fuel levels are maintained for scheduled flights. Once the aircraft is boarded, the First Officer will communicate with air traffic control for required permissions.
During flight, they may use navigation equipment to maintain course and altitude while continuing to monitor the plane’s systems and fuel levels.
The First Officer works closely with customers to ensure flight plans are on schedule and being performed to meet the customer’s needs, with safety being first priority.

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum TT of 250 hours
Preferred Education and Experience
Minimum TT of 500 hours
Commercial AMEL and ASEL
Turbine engine experience
Other Hiring Requirements
Current Passport with unrestricted international travel privileges
Valid Driver’s License
Must provide U.S. Citizen status upon first day of employment
Must pass a DOT/FAA regulated drug screen
