Responsibilities:
Conducts Primary and Advanced airplane flight and ground training to prepare student and rated student pilots to successfully complete certification for Private Pilot, Commercial Pilot and Instrument Rating.
Conducts training in accordance with the training curriculum and to the standards outlined in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airman Certification Standards.
Develops and executes tailored flight and classroom training sessions in accordance with the standards outlined in the FAA Flight Instructor Handbook.
Makes recommendations for students to conduct solo flight, cross-country flight and to receive certification practical tests.
Prepares lesson plans and scheduling, maintains training folders, and completes required training entries IAW the FAA and school requirements.
