Job Description

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Reports to the Chief Pilot and Director of Operations.
Supervises the Pilots assigned to each operating base in Texas (KGTU and KADS).
Upholds CFMI’s policies, procedures, and standardization of flight crew personnel.
PIC on the HA420 HondaJet in Part 91 and 135 on-demand charter operationsMaintains proficiency as Pilot-in-Command.
Ability and willingness to be available 24/7 year round
Ability to adapt to rotating schedules and short notice callouts
Ensuring compliance with FAA regulations pertaining to actual flight,qualifications, currency and fitness for flight as well as aircraft complianceAssists the Chief pilot with training when the duties of the Director of Training is vacant.
Acts as Senior Check Airman when that position is vacant.
Assists the Chief Pilot and Director of Operations in formulating operationspolicies, coordinates those policies, and coordinates operations and training.Ensures that all aircraft are properly equipped for applicable operations.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Requirements:
Multi-Engine Airline Transport Pilot Certificate
Previous turbojet type rating
Current 1st Class Medical or ability to qualify for one.
No accidents, incidents or sanctions in the past 5 years
Knowledge of general aviation aircraft and their service requirements plus the needs of crews and passengers
Self-starter with the ability to work independently
Ability to train an SIC pilot to properly perform their functions
A sincere desire to assist customers and be part of a team

Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skillsProfessional in appearance and mannerisms
Able to develop a friendly rapport
Attention to detail
Excellent ability to multi-task
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates with:
3000 Total Time hours
1500 PIC Hours
250 PIC Hours in turbine powered aircraft
Previous experience in on demand charter operations
