The Airplane CFI conducts primary and advanced airplane flight and ground training to prepare student and rated student pilots to successfully complete certification for Private Pilot, Commercial Pilot and Instrument Rating.
Training will be conducted in accordance with the training curriculum and to the standards outlined in the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airman Certification Standards.
The CFI must be proficient or capable of gaining and maintaining instructor proficiency in various flight training aircraft operated by and able to develop and execute tailored flight and classroom training sessions in accordance with the standards outlined in the FAA Flight Instructor Handbook and will make recommendations for students to conduct solo flight, cross-country flight and to receive certification practical tests.

Must have a minimum of 250 hours of single engine airplane flight time of which 50 must be in a Cessna 172 and possess a working knowledge of FAA 14 CFR Part 61 and Part 141 regulations.
